· Do not touch, rub, pick or scratch your brows following treatment or during healing process. Allow any scabbing to come off naturally in its own time. The flakes must fall off on their own or you will risk removing the color and possibly scarring.
· Don’t soak the treated area in the bath, pool or hot tub. For 30 days refrain from swimming in salt water, chlorinated pools, saunas, hot yoga, steam rooms, or sunbeds.
· No exercise for 14 days. After 14 days during exercise, wear a sweatband to avoid sweat on the brow area.
· Do not expose treated area to direct sunlight. After healing (30 days) use sunscreen to avoid fading from the sun.
· No make up should be applied directly on the browse during the healing process.
· You may find that your eyebrows will scab or become slightly dry following the treatment. If they itch, do not scratch them. You may tap them to alleviate the itch.
· If your eyebrows get wet during the healing process, pat them dry with a towel, do not rub.
· Avoid using daily skin care products directly on the eyebrows.
· If you’re planning a chemical peel, or any other medical procedures, please inform Therapist of the procedure you have had. Procedures should only be done once the healing process is complete.
6-8 Week Touchup: Please note that there may not be openings available if you need to address your touchup appointment with in your 6-8 week window. Please make sure to put this appointment in your calendar!
Please note: Eyebrows will appear 40% darker and bolder due to natural scabbing and healing for the first 10 days. This is quite common for all permanent cosmetic procedures. After the scabbing phase the eyebrows then will appear lighter due to skin healing itself. This is called the translucent skin phase. During this phase it will appear as if your eyebrows are fading due to the skin healing itself. The true pigment color will come through within four weeks post procedure. Any missing or patchy areas will be corrected during your touchup. Healing will depend on your aftercare, medications, skin, and activity level.
